Day 1 of the jam

Today I found out the theme for the jam “Critters”
So I thought hmm what counts as a critter? a small animal? yes a bug? yes
a computer bug (play on words)? I guess so!
so I decided my concept for the game would be about a programmer whos code fails (as we have all had happen) they open up the debugger to find the issue that’s where the game begins. you the player are the debugger, fight your way through bugs and glitches to help the programer with his spaghetti code
Tasks done today:
- made godot project
- made some blender models
- made a flying usb stick
- made a player controller
Tasks for tomorrow:
- basic map layout
- add weapons for the player
- start looking into adding the wildcards (all of them)
potential wildcard ideas:
Button Smash
use in boss fight?
Rage Room
discructable parts to the map (both by player and enemies)
Personalized Copy
each level is randomly generated (weapons, objects, cover, ect)
